Suhuf LLC ("we") makes the Suhuf app and suhuf.app. This policy explains what we collect and why. We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email, and account ID when you sign in with Apple or Google.
- Your hifz data: memorization and review progress, plans, sessions, and Listen favorites and playlists, so they sync across your devices.
- Recitation audio: when you use Recite, your microphone audio is sent to our servers to check your recitation in real time. If Save Recitation Recordings is on (you can turn it off in Settings), recordings are stored so you can play them back or share them, and deleted after 30 days unless you choose to keep them.
- Notifications: a device token, if you allow notifications, to send reminders.
- Crash reports: technical diagnostics (device model, app version, error details) to fix bugs. These don't include your name or email.
Your location, if you allow it, is used only on your device to calculate prayer times. It is not sent to us.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that run the app for us: hosting and databases, file storage, speech processing, crash reporting, and subscription management (RevenueCat). Purchases are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details. We may also disclose data if required by law.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account and its data anytime in Settings, or email us. Deleted data is removed from our systems within 30 days.
Children
Suhuf is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above.
